National Environmental, Inc. provides water and waste water treatment services for various industrial client applications.  This position would be responsible for implementing these programs in a professional and effective manner.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform on-site water and waste water treatment services at National Environmental, Inc. client locations.
  • Possess a general knowledge about industrial waste water and process water chemistries
  • Troubleshoot upset conditions to determine the reason for the condition.
  • Have a basic understanding of how waste water processes operate.  These include clarifiers, equalization, dissolved floatation, sludge thickeners, filter press, air diaphragm pumps, oil water separators,
  • Be capable of performing bench testing to evaluate the chemical treatment program and from that testing, be capable of making adjustments to the chemical feed rates.

Serve as a technical advisor and manager for the development and implementation of client environmental programs.  These programs include but are not limited to: hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, air and water permitting, environmental site assessment, ISO14001 and other quality management programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform environmental site assessments with an emphasis on industrial facilities.
  • Provide services associated with the management of industrial waste including zero waste to landfill, waste minimization, recycle, and disposal options.
  • Provide consulting services related to such areas as NPDES, RCRA, SPCC, SWPPP and other items related to client’s regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing client’s internal policies and procedures related to compliance.  When issues are identified, effectively communicate the problems to customer management team members, identify alternative solutions, provide recommendations, and ensure issues are resolved.
  • Review federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including emerging legislation which may affect industrial facilities and thus able to present technical guidance for regulatory compliance programs.
  • Experience with industrial waste water treatment operations is a plus.
  • B.S. degree or higher in environmental science or related field is preferred.
